Water Purity for Storage

We all need water to survive, so I highly recommend your survival list starts with water storage. In a previous post, I mentioned that I felt it was better to store water that was purchased because I felt it was much cleaner than the tap water found in most homes. When I say purchased, I mean water that has already been filtered.

I live in a city that has a “Superior” water supply according to the state. However, recently I was running some water in the sink and thought I was smelling chlorine. This was the same type of smell that you might notice around a swimming pool. Creating a list is not nearly as fun as working with the items themselves, but this initial planning will save you both time and money increasing your odds of survivability. Use this initial step to really think about the items you need, the basics, and it can grow from there. As you prioritize the items on your list, you are creating a shopping list to compare what you have versus what you need to get as time and money allow. More
